DISCLAIMER:
Failure to receive a property tax statement does not exempt the taxpayer from timely payment of the taxes due. Property tax statements are mailed each year to the owner of record, as their name and mailing address appear on the tax roll. The tax roll is prepared and maintained by the State of Montana, Department of Revenue, Property Assessment Division. If you do not receive a tax statement, please contact the Treasurer's office to request a duplicate statement or to request an address change. If payment is delinquent, penalty and interest accrue daily until paid. Mail must be postmarked on or before the due date to avoid penalty and interest costs.
REFUND POLICY:
The Judith Basin County Treasurer is not responsible for payments made on the wrong property or the wrong motor vehicle and payments so made cannot be refunded. If your mortgage company pays your property, do not pay it yourself.
